Details: This is a 1973 2002 Tii Golf(original color) Sunroof car from Pacific Northwest until 4 years ago.Never driven in an East coast winter. The Car has a 5 Speed conversion. Transmission and drive train is in great condition. Engine runs fine and does not skip beat. Will ´burp´ a little smoke when coasting after hard acceleration. K-Fischer dialed in correctly. Idle wanders a little bit when it first warms up but settles in nicely at the correct RPM. Suspension is new with Bilstein HDs all around and new Brakes and lines within the last 1000 miles. Recaros Sports with BMW insignia.The car will need a back seat as current new seat will is not be going with car. This can be negotiated. Car is being sold with steelie wheels. Original clock is there but inop. Console is original and Blaupunkt Am radio. All lights function as normal.The BadQuarter size Hole in Shock tower First generation rust so has not been repaired before. This hole is no where near themounting point of shock mount. Rust On the internal boot lid seam and bonnet seam. Have Brand new Hood and used clean trunk lid that go with the car. Doors are okay but have rust on lower seam.Have used replacement doors as well. Pedal box will need to be replaced in the long term. Car has some spots of surface rust as well but nothing terribleThis is a driver project and I am trying to be honest concerning its condition and a realistic price point on the this Tii. It is a Tii and they do not make them any more as you know. This is a great restoration candidate that could eventually be restored but in the meantime It is a great driver, the car drives tight and is a blast to drive. Its quick and a joy to drive. In good driving condition, gas saver (estimated about 450miles per tank). 190K original miles, but the engine was replaced with a newer one 3 years ago and has run perfect since then (the engine has about 150K miles)Looks magnificent and paint is still shiny but has usual wear, tear, noise for a 16 year old car. Buy As Is.Seat has a rip in it, small dent on doors, small rust on trunk. Oil change has been transformed to be done without going under car or lifting car.Check engine light is on due to faulty catalytic converter code, i replace it every two years with a cheap one for 70$ before i get emissions done and has worked every time(Ill let you know how to do it). Just got emissions passed 3 months ago so good for another 2 years. A/C works but doesn´t blow cold air- I dont know if it needs to be charged or fluid needs to be flushed, never needed A/C in this car so i didnt care.Small electrical malfunctions (fog lights dont work, radio lights very dim and sometimes not visible, heating unit and radio cuts out sometimes, cig lighter doesnt work ---i think theres a ground wire somewhere in the dashboard)Tires like new.BOTTOM LINE: Car runs good and looks amazing. Just has random stuff that can be fixed if you want a perfect car. I dont have the time for it. The known problems are the cross member that the engine and trans mount too and control arms mount too is rusted through on the left rear section that bolts to the frame. This will need to be replaced or welded. The front brakes take a few seconds to release after the brake pedal is released. This is caused by the front brake hoses. Replacing the hoses is not a pretty easy. ALL THE REPAIRS CAN BE DONE AND THE PRICE WOULD BE WAY UNDER BOOK VALUE. Its Gunmetal grey with an all black leather interior.It has a V6,3.0 liter engine and a manual 5-spd transmission. Engine has 165,XXX miles on it, 15,000 of which I put on myself since I´ve owned it. Also has AC and heated seats, Power everything,, cruise control, dual power leather seats, aftermarket radio and Ipod/MP3 dock, rear spoiler, and a power sun/moon roof. The windows have been tinted out and a custom exhaust system was also recently installed before I bought it which sounds great but is not obnoxiously loud, just sounds a little deeper. Details: 1993 Toyota pick up truck. Approximately 45,000 miles. Odometer is broken I purchased the truck in 2008 with 34xxx miles on it, odometer broke soon after ward. I never intended on selling the truck (the last one went 265,000 miles) so I didn´t bother fixing it. I used it to go to home depot or lowes´ or for mulch for the house about once a week so I am confident with the mileage estimate. 6 cylinder 5 speed standard bed with bedliner. New exhaust and new brake lines. Body has very little rust. Underside is rusty but frame is solid. Currently has a broken shock mount. I have the upper and lower control arms for both sides that will go with the truck. It is driveable but I for how far I couldn´t say.
