Shifts likes its brand new, seriously its crazy how mechanically sound this car is. It has the typical honda quarter panel cancer, however, its not bad at all. Interior is easily 10/10 its so clean its crazy. Exterior is like a 7.5/10, paint is just a little faded, no dents, just the little spot on the right front bumper. The previous owner bought it new in 94, and took such good care of it...in 2006, at 42.xxx miles, as preventative maintenance, the timing belt and water pump were replaced, oil changes every 3000 like clock work. i have a binder full of work done to this car. ONLY THING THIS CAR NEEDS IS TIRES!!! Transmission and drive train is in great condition. Engine runs fine and does not skip beat. Will ´burp´ a little smoke when coasting after hard acceleration. K-Fischer dialed in correctly. Idle wanders a little bit when it first warms up but settles in nicely at the correct RPM. Suspension is new with Bilstein HDs all around and new Brakes and lines within the last 1000 miles. Recaros Sports with BMW insignia.The car will need a back seat as current new seat will is not be going with car. This can be negotiated. Car is being sold with steelie wheels. Original clock is there but inop. Console is original and Blaupunkt Am radio. All lights function as normal.The BadQuarter size Hole in Shock tower First generation rust so has not been repaired before. This hole is no where near themounting point of shock mount. Rust On the internal boot lid seam and bonnet seam. Have Brand new Hood and used clean trunk lid that go with the car. Doors are okay but have rust on lower seam.Have used replacement doors as well. Pedal box will need to be replaced in the long term. Car has some spots of surface rust as well but nothing terribleThis is a driver project and I am trying to be honest concerning its condition and a realistic price point on the this Tii. It is a Tii and they do not make them any more as you know. This is a great restoration candidate that could eventually be restored but in the meantime It is a great driver, the car drives tight and is a blast to drive. Details: T100 with the 3.4l and 4wd. GIbson exhaust 200k on the body but only 70k on the motor. Motor was replaced by Toyota at 130k or so, I have the paperwork to go with that. Last summer I replaced shocks with Rancho 9-way adjustables, put a new rear end in built by East Coast Gear Supply. Stock 4.10 gears. 33x12.5 general grabbers on 15x10 rims approx 2k mi on them. Also have a second set of 31x10.50 general grabbers on stock wheels with approx 8k mi on them. Truck has a 2in suspension lift using ball joint spacers and AAL at the same time as the lift the idler, pittman, ball joints and rear u joint were replaced. Not a perfect truck but very solid, has a clean title, will get you to the trail head and back and everywhere in between. Details: This is a 2002 Toyota Tacoma extended cab, TRD with locking rear differential. The truck is a 5 speed and has the 3.4 motor which runs strong. The truck does not burn or leak any oil and the 4x4 works perfect. The truck has 175,000miles on the clock, however you wouldnt know it. The truck has factory ABS, power locks, windows and mirrors, A/C, tilt, Am/Fm/ CD and tape, Int. wipers, Cruise, floor mats, rear slider and bed liner. The frame on the truck is new and was replaced by Toyota. The muffler and rear leaf springs are new as well. The truck has a newer battery and a K+N brand panel filter. The truck is super clean inside and out, but has minor paint ships, scratches and a couple of dents.Common for a truck this age. The E brake does not work, as the rear adjusters are frozen, which is a common problem for most New England Tacos. This is an easy fix, however will take some patience. The Brake master cylinder and booster were both replaced on the truck due to a bad booster. Now the truck has a spongey brake pedal. The system was bled, but to no avail, it is still spongey. Maybe an easy fix if you can trouble shoot this, otherwise the truck is tight. No trades, No scammers, NO BS! Call with questions, serious people only, if you want a 3k truck, go buy a Ranger! The known problems are the cross member that the engine and trans mount too and control arms mount too is rusted through on the left rear section that bolts to the frame.
